Tope Fasua, the Vice President’s Special Advisor to President Bola Ahmed on Economic Affairs, has stated that he is optimistic about the President’s prospects of winning reelection in 2027.
Fasua asserted that when Nigeria holds her presidential election in 2027, he does not see anyone who could unseat him.
He pointed out that other political parties do not have the platform to fight Tinubu.
In a recent interview with broadcast journalist, Seun Okinbaloye, Fasua said, “I don’t see who will remove Tinubu in 2027. I don’t even see where you’re going to start. It is going to end up in frustration.
“They don’t even have a platform anymore. Which platform are they using?”
Under the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) platform, Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election.
Peoples like Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were defeated by him.
