Social activist Aisha Yesufu has weighed in on the crisis between the Rivers State House of Assembly, comprising 27 Wike is loyalist to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, and Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara, who was once Wike’s ally.

On March 17, it was widely reported that the Rivers state House of Representatives had initiated impeachment moves against Governor Fubara. A move to which Aisha Yesufu has disclosed is unsettling.
Reacting to this development, Aisha Yesufu expressed a desire to handle the said crisis in the state in her own way. Stating that no individual has the ultimate monopoly of power. Aisha Yesufu took to her X page to express her thoughts.
Aisha Yesufu wrote, “Kai! Na dis kind fight i for like buy ooooo! I for ask Fubara to step aside for the next two weeks make i be Governor Of Rivers State! We go kukuma know say nobody has monopoly of anyhowness! E pain me!”

Recall that the Activist, Aisha Yesufu rose to fame over her strong participation in the endsars movement in 2020 and has ever since lent her voice to different courses including political topics and debates.
