Student jumps to death from 3-storey building after consuming hard drug-Unizik
A student from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, whose name has not yet been revealed, tragically jumped from a three-storey building after reportedly using hard drugs.

The incident took place around 8:00 PM on Thursday at a lodge near the Royal Kitchen junction, close to the university gate in Awka, Anambra State.
Witnesses say the student jumped from the building and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Residents reported that the student had consumed a substance known as MKPURUMMIRI before the incident. They heard a loud noise and later discovered the victim’s body lying in a pool of blood.
Further investigation revealed that the student’s roommate was also under the influence of the same drug, as he was found in a confused state in their room.
The roommate is currently in police custody and will be questioned once he is stable.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, as authorities are working to inform his family.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and as of now, neither the police nor the university officials have confirmed the details.
