The founder and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze, has shared the source of his evangelistic passion, saying that his ministry is a supernatural calling rather than a professional endeavour.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, he made this clear.
Contrary to popular belief, the well-known cleric stated that he is not a pastor for money or personal benefit.

He said “I’m not a professional pastor, the day I become a professional pastor let God k!ll me.“
“The day it ceases to be about God and be about Jerry let God close down everything.”
Pastor Jerry Eze expressed humility about his unexpected rise to prominence. He stated that he never intended to reach his current position, pointing out that genuine success comes from remaining committed to God’s plan rather than pursuing fame.

In his words “I didn’t plan to be here, this is not something you plan that at some point youre going to be big and the world will hear of you.
“I know what my assignment is, I know what God has called me to do and it has consumed me.”

Pastor Jerry Eze also noted in his interview that he is motivated by the smiles and testimonies from his congregation.
He said, “I don’t care what anybody thinks or feels but the encouragement is when I see those smiles and hear those testimonies.”
