Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has dislcosed that advocates of the coalition seeking to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 will definitely fail.
The Lagos state governor urged President Tinubu to disregard the alliance that has been formed with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), one of the fringe political parties, adding that it is merely a distraction.
He claimed that Nigerians will back the president in order to guarantee that the benefits of his audacious reforms are fully implemented.

Speaking with a group of journalists and politicians in Lagos, Governor Sanwo-Olu said, “Nigerians will never go back to Egypt.
The target is to distract the Commander-in-Chief and derail the social and economic gains that we can see and feel, but President Tinubu knows the game and will never fall for their bait”.
According to Sanwo-Olu, President Tinubu’s record, accomplishments, and reform plan are powerful enough to overcome any narrative that aims to undermine his administration or his chances of winning reelection.
Among other things, he mentioned the national minimum wage, tax reforms, the stability of the foreign currency market, the students loan program, large-scale infrastructure projects, higher revenue for states following the elimination of fuel subsidies, and increased oil output.

Sanwo-olu noted that the APC along with its supporters are not bothered about the ADC or any other Anti-Tinubu coalition.
“The President should stay the course. Millions of well-meaning Nigerians across party lines and compatriots, who understand what it takes to govern the most populous black nation on earth and revive a troubled economy, are behind him and trust his leadership.
“We know how far we’ve come under President Tinubu’s leadership. The focus should remain on delivering results, deepening reforms and building a stronger Nigeria. Any attempt to shake that foundation will be futile,” he added.
