Right Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, the speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, said on Tuesday that the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) might be overthrown if the PDP straightened out.
Speaking as the “Guest of the Month” on the July edition of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State’s (BCOS) monthly live program in Ibadan, Ogundoyin made this statement.

The speaker also discussed current political events, specifically the coalition of certain politicians on the African Democratic Congress (ADC) platform.
Ogundoyin said, ”As far as the PDP can get its acts right, it will be a party to beat. The day the PDP gets it right will be the end of the ruling party.”
The speaker further stated that the PDP needed a fresh structure. ”The party needs a fresh convention and structure. We need more committed members holding positions,” he said.
Additionally, he expressed his condolences to the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari on his passing and the people of Ogun State over the passing of the Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
The Conference of Speakers Chairman, Ogundoyin, exhorted those who remain to contribute to the nation.

“I express my condolences to the family of the late President Muhammadu Buhari,” he added. He was a very disciplined individual. He was adamant about doing more for Nigeria. He left his mark. Those of us who are left behind must now assume the role of leaders.
