Armed bandits have kidnapped the wives of prominent businessman Babangida Mai Goro during a late-night attack on Tuesday in Dutsin-ma, Katsina State.
Security analyst Bakatsine disclosed the incident in a post on his X platform, stating that the attackers stormed the businessman’s residence in the Government Reserved Area (GRA) of Dutsin-Ma town but abducted his wives after failing to locate him.
He wrote: “ALERT: Yesterday night, bandits invaded a home in GRA, Dutsin-Ma town, Katsina State, abducting the wives of Alh. Babangida Mai Goro after not finding him at home. Disturbing that such an attack happened in a major town like without challenge.”
The town in Katsina has experienced repeated attack by bandits and several cases of kidnapping have been reported.
