Arsenal FC secures all three points over Newcastle United in Hard Fought 2-1 victory.
In Sunday’s English Premier League clash between Newcastle United and Arsenal FC, the Gunners came on top with a narrow 2-1 victory over the Tynesiders at St. James’ Park.

Arsenal’s striker, Viktor Gyökeres, had his penalty disallowed by VAR in the 15th minute of the game. Then in the 34th minute, Alexander Isak’s replacement, Nick Woltemade, got the home side flying with a deftly executed finish to make it 1-0.
With a lot of goal attempts from the away side, substitute Mikel Merino, who came on for Riccardo Calafiori, equalized for Arsenal FC in the 84th minute to make it 1-1.
Things got heated in the late session of the game, and the Gunners started pulling more attacking strings to push mother luck their way to securing all three points. Obviously, their prayers were answered as in the 90+6 minute, Gabriel Magalhães made it 1-2 for Arsenal FC through a headed goal from the corner setpiece.
The match ended with Arsenal having 400 accurate passes over Newcastle’s 187 passes.
Arsenal FC now sit in the 2nd position with thirteen points and are two points behind league leaders, Liverpool. This reinforces their challenge for the title this season, as fans are hoping they won’t have a near-miss title season.
They go on to face Greek champions, Olympiacos, in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, October 1, in Matchday 2. They return back to the Premier League with a home clash against West Ham, which football experts are suggesting it should be a clean swoop of another three points.
