Nigerian Air Force Opens Recruitment for Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially opened its online registration for the Airmen and Airwomen Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025, providing a free opportunity for qualified Nigerian citizens to join the service.

The application window runs from October 14 to November 25, 2025. Interested candidates must apply through the official and free recruitment portal: www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
Eligibility Requirements 🧑✈️
All applicants must be Nigerian citizens and meet NAF’s medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards.
1. Non-Tradesmen/Non-Tradeswomen
These applicants are generally for general duty roles:
Age: Must be between 18 and 22 years old.
Education: Must have at least five credits in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS), including Mathematics and English Language.
Other: Must present their secondary school testimonial.
2. Tradesmen/Tradeswomen
These applicants are for skilled roles:
Age: Must be between 18 and 27 years old.
Education: Must possess a National Diploma (ND) or NCE with at least a lower credit, in addition to the minimum five credits at the O’level.
Special Requirements:
Must hold a valid trade test certificate for their skill.
Applicants for driving roles must possess a driver’s licence.
Sportsmen and women must provide professional experience certificates and medals.

Physical Standards
Male: Must be at least 1.66 meters (5 ft 5 in) tall.
Female: Must be at least 1.63 meters (5 ft 4 in) tall.
Note: Applicants must not have any prior criminal convictions.

Online Application: Complete the application on the official portal.
Print Forms: Print the following mandatory forms:
Acknowledgment Form
Parent/Guardian Consent Form
Local Government Area Attestation Form
Authentication: The Local Government Area Attestation Form must be signed by one of the following officials from the applicant’s state of origin:
Military Officer (Wing Commander rank or higher)
Police Officer (Chief Superintendent rank or higher)
Local Government Chairman or Secretary
A Magistrate
Verification: The signee’s passport photograph and a copy of their valid ID (National ID, Driver’s Licence, or International Passport) must be included with the form.
NAF warns that applications with inaccurate information will be invalidated, and the required forms will not be generated for unqualified applicants.
Selection Phase
Aptitude Test: The Zonal General Aptitude Test for all shortlisted applicants will be held on a date to be announced later on the recruitment portal.
Interview: Only successful candidates from the aptitude test will be invited for the final selection interview.
