Opeyemi Ayanwale, also known as Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has announced plans to start a non-governmental organisation dedicated to helping girls.
Speaking soon after receiving a second N2 million cheque from BetKing in Lagos, Imisi called the gesture “inspiring and overwhelming.”
The prize was given to her for winning a competition sponsored by a betting company when she was in the BBNaija house.
Imisi spoke about her childhood challenges, which she described as dramatic and difficult, while also expressing gratitude for her BBNaija experience and the most recent cash win.
Imisi said, “I am overwhelmed; I am happy and grateful; I feel good, excited and delighted. I just feel good seeing all these working in my favour.
“As a lady, I know what it was growing up. So, for me, I would like to do something for a girl child. I am not clear yet, but something like a foundation for the girl child, because that has always been my desire, and I think I really want to do that.

“Things are still looking like a dream to me now, but I really want to do that. While growing up as a girl child, it was a very dramatic time for me.”
