In a post shared via her verified X handle on Sunday, Aisha Yesufu made the remark while reacting to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat.
Trump had reportedly directed the U.S. Department of Defense to prepare for potential military action in Nigeria if the Nigerian government fails to curb the continued killings of Christians in the country.
Reacting, the co-founder of BringBackOurGirls campaign said, “As usual, Nigerians will want to abdicate their responsibilities of holding government accountable because now Trump is coming to save them.
“We are always looking for quick fixes. Just so you know, Saudi Arabia, China are also considered Countries of Particular Concern.”
