Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, the newly elected National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), SAN, and a number of other party leaders are presently at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Garki, Abuja, to formally file a complaint against a number of individuals, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and expelled Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
This comes after the PDP group led by Muhammad Abdulrahman and supported by Wike called an emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee, NEC, and Board of Trustees (BoT) on Tuesday.

The meeting will take place at the party’s national secretariat’s NEC Hall in Wadata Plaza, Abuja, according to a notice sent out on Monday by Samuel Anyanwu, the ousted national secretary.

While the meeting of the BoT faction loyal to Wike, was scheduled for 11 a.m., that of the NEC was scheduled at 2 p.m.
Recall that Anyanwu, the party’s former National Secretary, was expelled from the PDP at the National Convention in Ibadan along with prominent individuals like Wike and former Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose due to accusations of anti-party activity.
