Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has stated that he has no intention of reconciling with his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.
Senator Ned Nwoko further denied having any recent communication with her, insisting instead that she seeks therapy.
In a detailed statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the lawmaker also posted screenshots of what he described as their last WhatsApp exchange.
He explained what happened, when, and how, stating that Regina has been completely under the influence of hard drugs, leading to a series of violent and irrational incidents.
According to the lawmaker, he released the WhatsApp message from October 17 to clarify the situation and show the ultimatum he delivered regarding her rehabilitation.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,” the statement read.
The statement further said that Regina’s allegations of drugs and sexual misconduct are a figment of her imagination and can never be substantiated.
