Asorta James, Special Assistant on Social Media to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, has mocked former Governor Samuel Ortom over the recent incident at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Secretariat.
Ortom, aligned with the PDP faction loyal to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, was reportedly escorted out of a stakeholders’ meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday.
In a viral video, members of the Tanimu Turaki-led faction can be heard telling him to leave the hall.
Reacting, Asorta in a post on his Facebook page described the incident as disgraceful.
He wrote, “WHAT A DISGRACE TO FMR. GOV. ORTOM
“The way Samuel Ortom was driven out the PDP national secretariat by supporters of the party was shameful. Na so e don reach? TYOTOM!”
