Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has stirred a buzz online following her recent outburst, comparing the treatment of renowned boxer Anthony Joshua to that of her late sister, Ruth, who was involved in a tragic accident.
On Tuesday, December 30, Phyna expressed her anguish and dissatisfaction on her official X handle, raising concerns about what she called a discrepancy between the treatment of Nigerian celebrities and regular people.
The social media personality, who lost her sister when she was hit by a Dangote truck, described the difficulties her family had during that difficult time.
She stated that despite repeated requests to have her sister sent abroad for medical care, her family was told she needed a “certificate” before she could travel.

Phyna’s remarks follow widely shared news of Anthony Joshua’s accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway which claimed two lives, his coach and personal trainer.
Despite his injuries, the boxer received medical attention, according to reports. However, her response was prompted by online allegations that he had been flown overseas.
