The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike has vowed to use his authority to punish people who oppose him.
Wike made the threat while pointing out that since power is not “dashed” as a gift, politicians fight for it.

Speaking on Sunday on his thank-you tour of Rivers State’s Obiora/Akpor LGA, Wike pointed out that US President Donald Trump’s authority allowed him to subjugate his Venezuelan counterpart.
He said: “Power is not dashed, you struggle for it. If Donald Trump doesn’t have power he would not go to Venezuela to pick up the President.

“Can a local government area that produced 5,000 votes challenge a local government that produces 40 percent of the votes? We will use our strength to punish people.”

The FCT minister’s warning comes amid his renewed hostilities between him and his successor, Governor Sim Fubara.
