Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu-Shettima campaign organisation in Zamfara State, has been kidnapped by gunmen who are thought to be bandits.
Security analyst Bakatsine revealed the incident in a post on X on Thursday. According to the post, over 30 armed men invaded Gusau’s home in Gusau town and whisked him away during the attack.

The post claims that during the assault, more than thirty armed men broke into Gusau’s house in Gusau town and took him away.
According to reports, the kidnapping happened in front of his wife, throwing the family into fear and panic.
Bakatsine revealed that although security services were notified right after, there has been no success in finding the victim.

In response to the event, the security analyst questioned whether violent attacks would continue in the area and how long Zamfara inhabitants would have to live in fear of banditry.
“Gunmen suspected to be bandits abduct Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu-Shettima, Zamfara Chapter. Over 30 armed men stormed his home in Gusau and abducted him before his wife. Security agencies alerted, but no trace yet.

“How long will these bandit attacks continue?,” he wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from security authorities regarding the incident.
