Children’s Day: FCMB CEO grants full scholarship to groundnut-selling boy, story trend

On May 27, 2024, Children’s Day, a story about a little boy selling groundnuts receiving a full scholarship from FCMB Group CEO Ladi Balogun has gone viral. During a football match, FCMB players, including CEO Mr. Ladi, bought the boy’s entire stock. When offered N10,000 instead of N2,100, the boy refused, worried his mother wouldn’t believe him.
