Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, was recognised by US President Donald Trump for attending the 74th National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

Speaking to the crowd on Thursday, Trump highlighted Mrs. Tinubu’s position as a Christian pastor at one of Nigeria’s biggest churches and described her as a revered figure.

“We are honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria. A very respected woman,” Trump said.

Addressing First Lady, Remi Tinubu directly, the US president added: “First Lady, where are you? Thank you very much. It is a great honour to have you with us.”
