Operation Hadin Kai Neutralises Boko Haram Commander In Madagali Raid

The Nigerian Army troops of “Operation Hadin Kai” have recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against terrorism after they reportedly neutralized a former hybrid Boko Haram commander, Abdullahi Mafa, during a coordinated security operation.
The successful Operation Hadin Kai mission was carried out in collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters in the Madagali area. Reports indicate that the troops engaged suspected Boko Haram fighters during an ambush along the Visik River line on Thursday.
According to security expert, Zagazola Makama, the encounter led to the neutralization of the terrorist commander after an intense exchange. The development marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts to dismantle insurgent networks.
In a separate operation within the Madagali Local Government Area, troops arrested a suspected drone and logistics supplier to the terrorists identified as Dauda Usman Gubula. The suspect was apprehended during a raid at Madagali Motor Park.
Quoting security officials, Makama disclosed that items recovered from the suspect included two aerial drones and 20 solar power banks. The arrest further underscores the expanding intelligence and operational reach of Operation Hadin Kai in the region.
The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing investigation, while troops continue to intensify operations aimed at restoring security and stability. Security forces have reiterated their commitment to sustaining the momentum of Operation Hadin Kai until insurgent activities are fully dismantled.
Residents in the affected communities have welcomed the latest Operation Hadin Kai success, expressing hope that sustained military pressure will bring lasting peace to the area.
