Adamu Atiku Abubakar has chosen not to join the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Adamu Atiku, the son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, was notably missing from the list of 22 commissioners who accompanied Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri when they officially announced their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.

Earlier reports indicated that the Adamawa governor and the commissioners had publicly declared their move to the ruling party.
However, Adamu Atiku’s absence from the delegation has drawn attention, as he remains one of the few top government officials yet to align with the APC in the state.
While no official statement has been issued by Adamu Atiku explaining his decision, it was gathered that he has chosen to remain in the PDP for now.
