Maryam Shettima, also known as Maryam Shetty, married her beloved partner in a wedding nikkah on June 8, 2024, in Kano State. This happy event follows nearly a year after she lost her chance to join President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet. Nominated in August 2023, Shetty was replaced by Dr. Mariya Mahmoud on the day she was scheduled for Senate screening. Since then, Shetty had kept a low profile until her recent wedding.
