The war in the Middle East continues to cause more casualties. President Donald Trump’s claim of an ongoing negotiation for a ceasefire agreement has been repeatedly dismissed by Iran, which has promised to continue fighting.

In Iran, Lebanon, Israel, and other parts of the region, thousands of people have been killed, and an even greater number have been injured or displaced.

Attacks on significant gas facilities in four Middle Eastern nations exacerbated the economic effects of the conflict.

US threatens to hit Iran hard

Meanwhile, the White House has threatened to “hit harder” if the Islamic republic fails to accept defeat militarily.

Caroline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, stated during a press briefing on Wednesday that if Iran does not proclaim itself beaten, President Donald Trump will step up his attacks.

“President Trump does not bluff, and he is prepared to unleash hell. Iran should not miscalculate again.

“If Iran fails to accept the reality of the current moment, if they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily, and will continue to be, President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before,” she told reporters in a press briefing.

Iran rejects US conditions

Iran has described the conditions of the US 15-point plan to end the war “unreasonable” and rejected it.

Additionally, it stated that the demands were exorbitant and pledged to keep going because, in its opinion, no negotiations could take place under these circumstances.

Tehran released its own five-point agenda in response to US demands that the nation cease funding or assisting regional proxies.

In place of the US demands, which required the country to stop financing or supporting proxies in the region, Tehran issued its own five-point agenda.

Additionally, he disputed that conversations had taken place between the two sides, claiming that Tehran had simply received a list of US demands from “friendly countries.”
