Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Friday, Mahmud Jega cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission to exercise extreme vigilance.
Recent reports indicated that the ADC is grappling with an internal conflict, which has led to the removal of former Senate President David Mark from his position as the party’s national chairman.
Commenting on the situation, Mahmud Jega stated, “The crisis in the ADC is being engineered. And INEC has to be very careful.”

“The impression INEC is giving is that it is part of the scheme to destroy all opposition parties.
“The opposition wanted the ADA; INEC sat on it for 2 years. Now they have moved to ADC, and they are coming up with something else.”
