Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, has acknowledged that he may quit the African Democratic Congress (ADC) if its internal procedures are compromised.

Obi made this claim in a Monday interview with Arise TV.

He explained his reasons for leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and threatened to leave again.

“I moved from APGA to the PDP because of issues with my successor. Rather than allow it to become toxic and become destructive to the governance of the State, I moved out,” Obi said.

Obi described how the PDP became into a transactional organization during his tenure there.

“People were not playing by the rules. It was transactional. I cannot be part of a transactional primaries. I cannot be paying people to go and serve them,” Obi said.

“So I moved to Labour Party, and of course like I said, government came into same system, which is very clear, I escaped from the fire they started.

“I’m in ADC with the same people, some of whom have left PDP and other parties but we are going through the same process.

“If that process is again compromised, I will speak out.

“If I have to move 20 times, I will,” Obi emphasized.
