This was contained in a press statement signed by Zainab S. Rabo, Senior Special Assistant on Media Affairs to the Governor.
According to the statement, the governor made the remarks during a stakeholders’ meeting held on Sunday at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Dutse.
Governor Namadi stressed that governance must remain people-focused, urging officials to be compassionate, responsive, and committed to improving the living conditions of citizens at all levels.
He reiterated that his administration is guided by a philosophy of mutual assistance, calling on appointees to deepen their engagement with the people and respond more effectively to their needs.

The governor also noted that true leadership is demonstrated through service, empathy, and dedication to public welfare.
Namadi remarks come amid growing public complaints against some political office holders over alleged lack of support and poor responsiveness to citizens’ needs.
“Anybody who feels he earns nothing to use in supporting the public should resign,” Gov. Namadi noted.
