Tanko said, “Obi came with his team from the Southeast which included some Southeast senators, We are in Bauchi right now and the pictures and details will soon be out.”
This comes amid the Bauchi State governor’s decision to exit the PDP, although it is not certain what party he will join.
Backstory…
Following Governor Bala’s decision to leave the PDP, Nentawe Yilwatda met behind closed doors with Bala at the Government House April 1st.

The governor alluded to a potential PDP departure amid what he called a “headless” party riven by internal strife.
However, Bauchi State caucus of the All Progressives Congress, on Tuesday night, rejected moves by the APC stakeholders to admit Governor Bala into the party.

The State’s APC chairman told reporters during the caucus meeting that members had unanimously decided to reject Mohammed’s requested admittance into the party.
He also stated that the caucus “unequivocally rejects” the action following thorough discussions.

Consequently,  the Bauchi State Governor’s move to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly been halted following disagreements over a proposed power-sharing arrangement.
