Felix Morka, Giadom Storm Rivers as APC Holds Tense Reps Primaries

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, and the party’s National Vice Chairman (South-South), Victor Giadom, are currently in Rivers State to monitor the ongoing APC House of Representatives primaries.

They are joined by Rivers APC governorship aspirant OK Chinda, as well as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives member Kelechi Nwogu.

The aspirants contesting in the primaries are largely aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

While consensus arrangements have been reached in most federal constituencies, the party has adopted direct primaries as the method for selecting candidates in Rivers State.

This development follows the release of the final list of screened House of Representatives aspirants, which reportedly saw three loyalists of Governor Siminalayi Fubara disqualified, while seven allies of Wike were cleared to participate in the race.
