Sanusi Bature, spokesperson to Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, has expressed doubts over the possibility of a successful presidential alliance between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Wednesday, Sanusi Bature said the proposed Obi/Kwankwaso ticket would not work because both politicians hold different political ideologies and views.
Sanusi Bature also noted that many people in Kano were surprised by Obi’s recent association with Kwankwaso, considering the former Kano governor had previously portrayed himself as more politically experienced than Obi and allegedly viewed him as a “Biafra agent.”
According to Bature, Kwankwaso is known as a straightforward politician focused on national development, adding that the partnership appears temporary and unlikely to deliver the leadership Nigerians need.
