Famous Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has finally celebrated his son Justin Idibia’s graduation following criticism over his reported absence at the ceremony.
2Baba Idibia had faced backlash on social media after fans noticed he did not appear in photos or videos from the graduation event held in London over the weekend.
Justin, who is 2Baba’s son with Pero Adeniyi, recently graduated from high school.
Sharing moments from the ceremony on Instagram, Pero expressed pride in her son’s achievement.
“My heart is so full today as I celebrate my son, Justin, on his graduation from high school. Congratulations, Justin! We’re beyond proud of you and excited to watch you soar to even greater heights. The future is yours, and I know God has amazing things in store for you,” she wrote.
Following the post, several social media users criticised 2Baba, with some suggesting that he had become less involved in the lives of some of his children since his relationship with Natasha Osawaru.
However, days after the backlash, the singer broke his silence by congratulating Justin publicly on his Instagram story and sharing pictures from the graduation ceremony.
“Congratulations son,” he wrote.
