BREAKING: Fresh Video of Kidnapped Oyo Teacher Emerges, Bandits Demand Release of Fellow Terrorists

The bandits behind the attack and abduction of students and teachers from three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State have released a new video stating their demands.

Mrs. Alamu, the principal of one of the schools, described the demands trending online in the latest video as false.

She said they showed them copies of the alleged demands, including the imposition of Sharia law, the release of some fighters, and the payment of one billion naira.

The detained principal also lamented that the continued circulation of the bandits alleged demands was making their release more difficult.

She said, “ Hello, everyone. I have come to make some clarifications. Today marks the 24th day we have been in this place, and it seems that some people are making our case complicated already. We were shown some print media that these people who abducted us requested a billion naira, and requested Sharia to be entrenched in the country, these are not true.”

She further added that, “They are not asking for Sharia law, they are not asking for money, the single thing they are asking for is the release of their people.”

BACKSTORY…
