Reveal every incriminating detail against Peter Obi — Atuejide challenges Kenneth Okonkwo

Former presidential candidate of the National Interest Party, Eunice Atuejide, has challenged African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo to publicly present any evidence he claims to have against former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in court.

Atuejide made the remarks on Thursday while reacting to comments by ADC chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme.

The politician, who described herself as a strong supporter of Obi, said she would not support any leader with questionable character or alleged criminal records.

“I challenge Kenneth Okonkwo to present in court every piece of evidence he has against Peter Obi that could incriminate him,” she said.

According to her, she wants Obi to be thoroughly scrutinised for the sake of transparency and accountability.

“I support Peter Obi wholeheartedly, and I do not want to follow a man with criminal records or someone who cannot be openly scrutinised,” she added.

Atuejide further stated that one of the reasons she remains proud of supporting Obi is because her children see him as different from the kind of politicians Nigerians are used to.

“My children are watching everything and are happy that their mother is supporting someone they believe is different from the usual politicians in Nigeria. That is why I want every allegation and every piece of information against him to be made public,” she said.

She also disclosed that she had advised Obi to continue pursuing the matter in court so that all claims against him could be openly addressed.
