2026 World Cup: Burna Boy, Shakira thrill fans at opening ceremony performance [VIDEO]

Famous Nigerian music star Burna Boy and Colombian singer Shakira have performed the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup titled “Dai Dai”.

The duo appeared at the tournament’s opening ceremony on Thursday, held at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, shortly after the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.

The 2026 World Cup, which features 48 teams for the first time, is being co-hosted by Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

Burna Boy delivered an energetic performance of “Dai Dai”, while Shakira performed the opening verse of the tournament’s official anthem following a performance by J Balvin.
