All advisers to AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary, have been relieved of their duties as part of a minor cabinet reshuffle in Kwara State.
The development was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mashood Agboola.
According to the statement, Governor AbdulRazaq approved the shake-up, which affects all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants in the administration.
The government said the move was aimed at creating opportunities for more party members and bringing fresh ideas and renewed energy into governance.
The Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the governor were also affected by the decision.
Governor AbdulRazaq commended the affected appointees for their contributions and dedicated service to the state, while wishing them success in their future endeavours.
He also directed all those affected to return government property in their possession and hand over to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
