Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been dealing with severe pain and mobility issues for several months, leaving her dependent on a wheelchair.
In an Instagram video posted on Saturday to mark her 25th birthday, the actress addressed her fans to explain her prolonged social media absence.
The mother of two shared that what initially seemed like a minor health issue gradually deteriorated, significantly limiting her mobility and leaving her frequently unable to walk.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair. Well, welcome to another chapter of my life. Let me walk you through what my life has been since many of you have asked questions about my absence,” she said.
The actress added that her condition worsened following the children’s carnival she hosted and that she had lost the freedom to roam around as she liked over the previous few months.
“For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this.
“But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my children’s day carnival. One test after another, I jokingly started calling myself elaborate. The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I can walk, and sometimes I can’t move. I cried,” she added.
Despite the severity of her condition, Daniels expressed gratitude for her ongoing recovery, noting that her health has been steadily improving.
She shared that her faith in God served as a primary source of strength during the difficult period, instilling optimism for full restoration and inner peace.
