The Senate Minority Leader, Patrick Abba Moro, has stated that the internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gradually easing, noting that members who resisted reconciliation have now left the party.

Abba Moro made the comments while addressing delegates at the PDP national convention in Abuja, where party leaders gathered to discuss key issues affecting the opposition platform.
He added that individuals unwilling to embrace peace had already negotiated their exit from the PDP.

“Those who insisted that there would be no peace in the PDP have all negotiated their way out of the party. We now have only two governors,” he said.
He also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for remaining loyal to the party despite the prolonged crisis.
“Wike has remained steadfast in the PDP. He must be commended,” Abba Moro added.
The statement comes amid ongoing efforts by party stakeholders to stabilise the PDP ahead of future political activities.
