Grammy-nominated Nigerian Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor widely recognized as Rema has shared some of the strangest rumors he has encountered about himself online.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Rema mentioned that he has come across claims linking him to the Illuminati, devil worship, and even accusations of drinking blood.
The singer expressed that these rumors have led to a significant loss of fans, and emphasizing how easily people believe what they see on the internet.
”Random stories have been made up about me being Illuminati, worshipping the devil, and drinking blood. I definitely lose some fans who just believe anything they see,” he said.

Rema also explained why he wears pendants in memory of his late father and brother.
