2027: ‘ADC crisis engineered, INEC needs to be careful’ – Jega strongly warns

A public affairs analyst, Mahmud Jega, has alleged that the current crisis and leadership tussle in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, is being engineered.

During a Friday interview with Arise Television’s “Prime Time,” Jega cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), to exercise extreme caution.

According to reports, the ADC is facing an internal crisis that has resulted in the removal of former Senate President David Mark from his position as the party’s national leader.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, on Wednesday March 1st announced that it has removed the names of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola from its official portal as the National Chairman and the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, respectively.

Airing his opinion, Jega said, “The crisis in the ADC is being engineered. And INEC has to be very careful.

“The impression INEC is giving is that it is part of the scheme to destroy all opposition parties.
