This marks a 12.32% decrease compared to the peak output of 5,801.84 megawatts recorded on March 4, 2025.

The development further showed that power supply has not improved in the last months for estimated 250 million Nigerians.

Recall that on September 10th, 2025, the national grid collapsed but was restored hours later.
