The brother of late actress Allwell Ademola has publicly apologised to actress Iyabo Ojo following his earlier criticism of her for allegedly not supporting his sister while she was alive.
He had previously called out Iyabo Ojo, actor Lateef Adedimeji, and other Nigerian celebrities for sharing photos of the late actress after her passing, questioning their support when she was still alive.
In response, Iyabo Ojo stated that she had supported Allwell Ademola extensively during her lifetime, noting that she featured in several of her movies free of charge.
However, during the service of songs for the late actress on Thursday January 8 2026, her brother approached Iyabo Ojo and begged her for forgiveness.
“Big mummy please don’t be offended, you can see that I didn’t abuse you in the viral video. Please I’m sorry.”
While prostrating to beg her, Iyabo Ojo quickly embraced him and said “O ti lo (it’s a thing of the past) to God I have forgiven you.”
