The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday reaffirmed its endorsement of President Bola Tinubu as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
This was announced by the APC NWC, National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, during a press conference held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
Despite the endorsement, Argungu clarified that other interested members of the party are still permitted to purchase presidential nomination forms and participate in the primary election process.
“It will be the wish of the party, and we, the APC NWC of the party, have already endorsed President Tinubu as the next presidential candidate of the party.
“It has also been replicated in all six geographical zones of the country. But it does not mean that the door is closed.
“It also means that when the time comes, we will make our timetable known so that for anybody who wants to aspire for the president of this country, either in the platform of the APC NWC, will not be denied the opportunity to purchase the nomination forms.”
