Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Nigerian chef Hilda Baci on her recent global recognition by the Guinness World Records.
Hilda received official certification on Monday for cooking the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, an impressive 8,780 kilograms, during a record-breaking cookout held last Friday at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
In a post shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, Atiku praised Hilda and her collaborators for their remarkable achievement.
“Congratulations to Hilda Baci and Gino for setting a new world record with the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. It is yet another reminder that our people can break records, set standards, and inspire the world. – AA.” He wrote.
The former vice president further praised Nigerians worldwide, noting that their achievements in diverse fields continue to position the country as a hub of talent and innovation.
Hilda, already celebrated for her 2023 Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, now adds another milestone to her growing legacy, further cementing her status as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished culinary figures.
