Atiku Reacts to Kwankwaso’s Explosive Defection, Warns of Major Political Upheaval

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the defection of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

It was reported that Kwankwaso officially received his membership card of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Monday.

Several prominent political figures, including Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi, former governors of Anambra and Rivers states respectively, visited Kwankwaso’s residence in Kano to witness the historic defection.

Reacting, Atiku in a post on his official Facebook page expressed excitement over Kwankwaso’s alignment with other opposition figures ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to Atiku, the alliance of opposition leaders has made power to tremble.

He wrote, “When men of conviction come together, power trembles. Welcome aboard, HE Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.”
