Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, or APC, Nentawe Yilwatda met behind closed doors at Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed’s Government House on Wednesday.
Channels Television claims that state party executives were not present at the meeting, which was solely between the three political figures.

The discussion was conducted behind closed doors, and the media was not permitted to cover it.
Efforts to get comments from the participants proved abortive as both Mohammed and Yilwatda declined interviews, describing the meeting as a private engagement.

The development comes barely 24 hours after Governor Bala Mohammed signalled his exit from the PDP and his interest in joining the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
His stance came after a party team headed by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, visited Bauchi.
