Bello El-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, stated on his X account that, while he loves his father, he also holds deep respect for President Bola Tinubu.
Responding to a comment from X user @utddiehard_ suggesting he was siding with his father—who belongs to the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—the lawmaker emphasized that he will never compromise his principles.
Bello El-Rufai wrote: “I love my father. I respect Asiwaju. I will never do anything against my party’s interest as long as I am a member. But I will never compromise my principles. “After all, God is bigger than PMB, Asiwaju, Mallam, and Buhari, and it is God and Kaduna North who will judge me. “My oath was with the Qur’an, the Constitution, and the APC Constitution. Any data boy and his sponsor will bow before me whenever I need them to once they try to drag me. And that’s what it is.”
