Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has disclosed why he turned down an alleged offer to join Mavin Records, despite reports that he was offered $1 million.
He shared the revelation in a brief post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
According to Blaqbonez, one of the key reasons he declined the deal was his discomfort with being highly active on social media or constantly engaging with fans, which he suggested may not fit the expectations of a major record label.

Blaqbonez wrote: “Need to get this off my chest before Chanel drops. The reason I didn’t sign to Mavin when they were allegedly offering me a million dollars is because I don’t really like posting. I prefer one tweet per year to engaging my fans. I’m too big for that—I’m mysterious.”
