According to recent media reports, Blessing CEO had solicited financial assistance from the public for treatment after announcing that she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
However, shortly after the announcement, she faced widespread online criticism over allegations that her cancer claim was fabricated. She was accused of manipulating another cancer patient’s medical report to make it appear as though it was issued to her.
Speaking in an interview amid the backlash, she made a U-turn on her earlier claim, saying, “I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication.”
Reacting to the development, netizens condemned her action and demanded return of money donated to her.
