President Bola Tinubu’s ambassadorial nominees have arrived at the Senate ahead of their scheduled screening on Thursday.

Among those spotted at the National Assembly for the ambassadorial nominees were former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri, and former Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Also present was former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau.
This comes amid a call from former Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, for Tinubu to withdraw his list of the ambassadorial nominees.

Ndume insisted that the composition of the nominees violates the Federal Character principle as mandated by the Nigerian Constitution.
According to him, several states were either underrepresented or completely excluded, while some states had multiple nominees.
