Bright Chimezie Boldly Debunks Harmful Myth: ‘Smoking, Drinking Don’t Boost Creativity’

Veteran musician Bright Chimezie has refuted claims by some artists that smoking and drinking alcohol enhance creativity.

The “Because English” crooner dismissed the notion as untrue.

Speaking on a recent episode of the CreativTea Podcast, Chimezie emphasized that artists who engage in smoking or drinking are merely doing it for enjoyment, not as a means to boost their creative abilities.

“The claims that you need to drink or smoke to get music inspiration is false. If you are drinking or smoking, you are just having fun. That doesn’t mean it will boost your creativity,” he said.

The veteran singer added that music inspiration comes naturally.
