Grammy Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats artist Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, will headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game.
The performance will take place on Sunday, October 25, at the Stade de France during the regular-season matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints.
Scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time (9:30 a.m. ET), the show forms part of the NFL’s 2026 international fixture lineup.
The National Football League confirmed on Thursday that the Paris staging will be one of seven halftime shows scheduled across seven countries and four continents as part of its 2026 International Games series.
Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy said returning to the stadium for the 2026 NFL Paris game event was significant following his previous performance there.
“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” he said.
“The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music and I intend to give the people a show they will not forget.”
Tim Tubito, Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music, and Entertainment at the NFL, stated that Burna Boy’s performance is a strong fit for the league’s inaugural fixture in France.
“The first NFL game in France deserves a halftime moment that matches the occasion, and there is no artist better suited to it than Burna Boy,” Tubito said.
He added that the artist’s return holds particular significance for the event due to his previous performance at the Stade de France and his prominent connection to African music.

For Burna Boy, the announcement also comes after several years of increasing crossover between Afrobeats and major global entertainment platforms.
He became the first African artist to perform on the main Grammy Awards telecast, while his 2020 album Twice as Tall won the Grammy for Best Global Music Album. The NFL has described him as one of the defining voices of African music worldwide.
